Anchorage Digital Introduces Global USD Transfers for Crypto Integration
Anchorage Digital, the only federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., has launched global USD wire transfers, bridging traditional finance and digital assets. CEO Nathan McCauley emphasized this move aligns with their mission to simplify crypto-fiat integration. Clients can now seamlessly manage cash and crypto on a single regulated platform.
The bank plans to roll out interest-bearing USD accounts later this year, enabling stablecoin minting and yield opportunities on tokens like USDG and PYUSD. This development reflects a broader industry trend where crypto platforms and fintech firms race to offer hybrid financial services.
Anchorage's expansion comes as regulatory barriers ease, with the OCC recently lifting consent orders. The bank's unique position as a crypto-native, federally regulated institution positions it at the forefront of institutional adoption.
